W. Main St. Bike and Pedestrian Mobility and Safety Improvement Project(CIP # 17-16)

The Main St. project contractor has been able to complete a significant amount of work over the winter months and is preparing to begin significant work toward reconstructing the asphalt next week. Through the winter months, the contractor continued to work, as weather allowed, on the north side of the roadway to complete conduit, utility and concrete work. Now that the weather is clear, the roadway reconstruction is ready to resume.

The contractor will begin removal of the old concrete highway under the asphalt the week of April 6th initiating the roadway reconstruction of the north side of the road. Staff anticipates that the project will be fully paved in May and completed in its entirety by June 2020.

For questions regarding this project, please contact Miguel Chavez, City of Woodland at miguel.chavez@cityofwoodland.org or 530-661-5952.
